Don DeForge, VMD Silver Sands Veterinary Center "It ain't over till It is over" Yogi Berra "I really didn't say everything I said" Yogi and Don Larsen after Larsen pitched a perfect game in the 1956 World Series Commentary by Dr. DeForge: Yogi Berra is one of my heroes. Yogi passed from this world September 22nd-2015 but he will always be with us. A War HERO; a great Major League Baseball player and manager; and in his later years a philanthropist. He loved kids and was a role model in all that he accomplished. I keep a short list of heroes in my life. I am fortunate to have on that list parents; siblings, wife, and children. Not many can say all of those were heroes in their journey. Others on the list I have met on my journey and others I never met but they in some major way have influenced my life, my actions, and my beliefs. Yogi was humble and giving.
